I try to grab every opportunity I get to wrestle, and since there apparently are no guys I can wrestle here in Denmark I am keen to grab the chance when I hear that there are foreign wrestlers coming to Copenhagen for a holiday, and yesterday I was lucky to get to wrestle sydneyheel from Australia. As his profile name might indicate he was knowing Pro wrestling pretty well, and since I always had had an interest in Pro wrestling though rarely get a chance to practice it I was looking forward to a good Pro match with him.

I had learned from my previous matches with kleiner kerl in Berlin that if I started out being a bit more aggresive than I usually do I would have a good chance gaining the upper hand in a wrestling match, but I had not thought about taking the difference in our size into consideration. Sydneyheel was not only smaller than me but also much lighter, weighing only about two thirds of my own body weight. So when I came on him it must have looked like a flood wave hitting an unprotected house. In seconds I had him pinned down and I immediately realised that if we were going to have any Pro match I had to step back a bit. Apparently there was a reason why the guys we can see on show wrestling matches on TV all are from the heavy segment.

So I turned down the throttle to see what he could do and let him play with me. And must say it was quite relaxing when I had the feeling that I could turn the tables any time I wanted to. Yet now I had a chance to experience some Pro wrestling I should try to learn as much as I could, now I had the chance. Also there were various holds which I had only seen pictures of, but did not know how they should be made. Sydneyheel was remarkably good in headscissors, but I think I surprised him (as well as myself) when I was able to just step up and having his body hanging like a necklace from my neck by his ankles. Which I swiftly could turn into a piledriver!

One of the holds I've always had an interest in was the leg split, and several times before I had tried to do this, but had never got it to work. But much to my surprise I fairly easy succeeded with sydneyheel. When we had reached the point where I had thought of stopping because it then probably would be too painful for him, he just seemed to be able to take more. This was when he told me that he was working as a dancer, and this immediately explained to me why he had such a good and supple body. He maybe should have tried doing the leg split on me, but with my comparatively big muscles it would probably have been too hard for him to try, even when I relaxed my muscles.

He then applied the camel clutch on me, but even though I could feel that he was applying the hold the right way, I also could feel that he did not have the needed weight. Hopefully some other and more heavy guy one day can put me in a camel clutch for real. For like all other wrestling holds you can neither practice nor apply them by yourself. As return I successfully applied the full nelson on him, but whether it was painful for him or he just stopped short, fearing what I could have done if I had proceeded was not clear for me.

All in all we wrestled for two hours, but although it was great to wrestle sydneyheel I admit that it was an uneven match. Sydneyheel was the kind of wrestler I would love to spend more time with, but unfortunately I was too heavy for him. Yet still, the few hours I had had with him was a great experience, and I was happy that he had sent me the message that he wanted to wrestle me!
