Hardmatch's blog
Update: January 22, 2018
Time for my weekly update. I will spare you another long winded blog. I hit the gym each weekday last week and introduced more weight training (Nautilus and free weights) into the routine. I was usually in the gym for a little over an hour each time. I'm still waiting for the extra energy to kick in for me. I think my body is in shock.
Despite all of this work last week, my numbers actually went in the wrong direction on today's weigh in.
Weight: 178.0 lbs
Body Fat: 32.7%
I can't think of any dietary changes I made this past week so hopefully this is just a blip and things will move in the right direction next week.

It is quite normal for there to be unexpected "blips" in your body weight/stats when you least expect it. The human body is an incredible thing and will do all sorts of things to keep you alive. Sounds like it has now noticed all the additional exercise you are doing and is trying to conserve energy/fat that it thinks you will need for continued exercise - therefore at the moment it will not allow you to lose weight. This will change over time as your body re-callibrates and gets into the new routine and you should start to notice the weight and/or fat % drop.
Another factor could have been water retention - oddly, drinking more water when exercising will counter your body's need to retain water it thinks you will need.
