One of the reasons I like it so much is that you can threaten opponent by a simple hand gesture... wanting to be a jobber, i think knowing it’s coming would be intimidating... especially if it had already been applied... total mind game...

watching it used on tv, loved it when the heel wouldn’t let go...had to be pulled off the hapless victim...

and what about the variation that the great khali used???

Yes, it is one of a few holds that the jobber can know what is about to happen if the heel shows the instrument of torture before hand. (total intended that pun)

And a great hold for the jobber to ham it up with legs kicking and arms flailing about as pro wrestling like to do. Watch as the life gets drained out the victim.

I've experienced extremely painful claws to the temples that can weaken and wear you down. Have never been taken too full sleep with one.

As a kid one of my favourite holds was the Von Erich’s iron claw to the face or head. Still like like it to this day. What I want to know is if it is a real or not. Anyone know?

I'm up to experiment to find out . . . Take turns at it just to be fair.
