I'm scratching my head over the lack of M/M figure 4 headscissor pics lately. A search reveals that virtually the entire internet is loaded with F/M or F/F headscissors in fantasy play, especially in the past five years or so.
Did something officially change in terms of refs "allowing" figure 4s in amateur matches? I understand there's been some clarity over how refs are directed to break up (and penalize) any figure 4 scissors applied from the "neutral position". So, are wrestlers just choosing not to go for it as much as in the past unless they're SURE it will lead to a pin, like with a double bar arm hold?
I noticed the fantasy sites aren't going there much either. What's up with that?
