Anyone in the Metro-Detroit area (within 100 or so miles) that wants to punish this jobber with a camel clutch session? Willing to travel or split a cheap room if needed 😉
Looking for guys in the Baltimore MD area that want to get worked over in boston crabs.... I am there often with a hotel and can always host. My next dates are Dec 10, 11 and 12. Where are all the tough guys that want to see how long they can take it??
Hmmmm it's hard to say. It all depends on whether or not they're trying to really hurt you or just playing or just showing off. I think I was held in a camel clutch for 20 minutes or so but there have been times when I gave up much faster because of the way they cranked my neck back so fast.
i use the largest swiss/medicine ball to stretch my back out, lay on the center of the ball with my lower back and try to balance it out without myself falling, all hands and limbs out, like a starfish, but consciously try to make sure that your forehead and tips of your toes can touch the ground. if no swiss ball, can find a workout bench in the gym, imagine you are being set up in an over the knee backbreaker hold, except its not someone's thigh but the bench, practice your bridging on it, that way your back would be able to be bent and withstand the ache longer. but ultimately it is best to have someone do the camel clutch to you and make you take as long as possible, maybe with a timer
I have an hourglass collection of several different time lengths. Sometimes I’ll turn one over just after releasing a Boston crab and before locking on a camel clutch, then maneuver him so he can see it, so he knows he’ll be trapped for a long while. It’s fun when he has no idea how long the hourglass is.
The crab is so devastating that he’ll always lie there a few seconds to recuperate, which gives me time to turn over the hourglass before going for the camel.
i think the longest i was put in a camel clutch (heel did not go all out but want to see how long i last, he dial power up and down to make me suffer but not too much till i tap), about 20mins or so. i think he was getting tired and the camera was rolling, he should have told me / hinted me to give up so that i would have tapped
Yeah I second this. If they actually go full on, it depends if they crank the neck too. For me, the back bend is not the issue, so full on can still go a good few minutes, if the neck is cranked too though only like 30 seconds tops - makes a HUGE difference. As rasslin bodybuilder said though, much more fun for it to be eased on and off, increasing and decreasing in intensity over a decent period of time so both heel and jobber can enjoy it, rather than it being slapped on full power and forcing an instant tap.
Over 30 minutes for me. But as others have said, not sustainable full-on for that length of time. Always with the pressure being varied over some period of time. Frequently set to go with some kind of timed endurance challenge - which of course can only end one way. :)
I've found it especially interesting when my buddy would ask Siri to pick a random number or to roll dice and then build the session around that. From my standpoint, I'm left with having to go with the flow dictated by the randomness of Siri and how intense my buddy wants to make it. Can't say it doesn't hurt at times. It's a rush not knowing how it's going to go until after the hold is first locked on.

11/20/2024 6:02 AMJust out of curiosity, what’s the longest you can withstand being trapped in a camel clutch?
I mostly like to apply it so I wouldn’t know how long I’d last lol.
